Sony introduces the CP-A2LAPKS, a new handy wind-up USB charger

Being capable to recharge our iThingy or other mobile device is a luxury that many people have lost in Japan after 311 (March 2011) and having a simple wind-up charger can make a lot of difference when you need to charge a phone or tablet to communicate with the rest of the world. With this tragedy in mind, many companies like Sony has started to offer different alternative solution to help people recharge their phones or any USB powered devices on the go and without any power outlet available, and Sony’s new CP-A2LAPKS wind-up USB charger has been designed with such situation in mind.
Announced in Japan at around 8000 Yen and schedule for June, the CP-A2LAPKS will give you up to 1 minute of talk time after winding it for three minutes and barely a minutes of Internet if you crank it up to a five minute winding effort.
