NEC refresh its Desktop and Notebook line-up while mostly skipping Ivy Bridge

I have been rather disappointed by today’s launch of NEC latest Notebook and Desktop. While the company completely revamp its product line-up inlcuding the All In One ValueStar W, N Series as well as the Notebook LaVie E, S and LaVie M, only the two new computer were announced today sporting Intel’s 3rd generation Ivy Bridge CPUs.
The first model sporting Intel’s latest CPU is a rather “blend” desktop the ValueStar L Series that comes with its VL750/HS version with a Core i7-3770S at 3.1GHz, with 8GB of RAM, 2TB of HDD, a 23″ Full HD Monitor and a GeForce GT 435M and the Desktop LaVie L Series that comes, regardless of the version with a Core i7-3610QM CPU (2.3GHz), 8GB of RAM, a 1TB HDD, a BDXL Burner and a 15.6″ Screen with either a Full HD Resolution of a 1366×768 One. The LaVie L Series also comes with USB 3.0 and optional Digital TV Tuner.
