Summer is soon going to be upon us and if you are planning to take some long vacation by the beach with your loved one, it is maybe time to consider upgrading your pocket camera gear with Sony’s latest Handycam the HDR-GW77V.
The HDR-GW77V does not stick us as a game changer but rather as a nice little, but very capable camcorder that comes with 16GB of internal memory, a 3” Touchscreen, support of 1080/60p and 60i AVCHD videos at 28Mbps, a GPS and the support of SDXC Cards. Boring? Well almost but thanks to its IP5X waterproof (5m depth up to 60”) and shockproof body the HDR-GW77V as at least its place in this summer’s Handycam line-up, still at 70,000 Yen we feel that we are paying here for the infamous Sony’s tax.
