Sharp releases new 3D Aquos G Series in Japan and plan to sell 4K TVs later this year

Today Sharp announced its latest 3D Aquos G Series in Japan with not less than six new models including a gigantesque 80” model! With size ranging from 40 up to 80” and price ranging from 160,000 up to 950,000 Yen, these new TV comes with UV2A Panel, LED Backlight, a 7,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 240Hz Panel and Sharp latest Audio Engine. Like previous model, the G Series comes with DLNA support and Sharp Aquos Android remote control.

Finally Sharp also announced that it will soon offer 4K TV in Japan before the end of this year, so be ready to be amazed with nice 4K Aquos TV at this year CEATEC!

Won’t believe until I see it. How sad is that a 10″ ipad has far more resolution than 24″ monitors … We have been needing a thin-bezel, thin and lightweight 4K 30″ panel for $500 for years now … still waiting … meanwhile, my $300 2560×1440 27″ will do …
