    Nice idea, but the pictured key layout is nonstandard,
    especially if you are used to touch typing on standard qwerty keyboards.
    (Elecom expects many errors — the delete key is conveniently on the home row!)

    [Keyboard layouts below look better in fixed width font such as Courier or Lucida-Console.]

    Original:

    ‘B’ is on the right hand, not the left!
    The right-hand top row (Y,U,I,O,P) and bottom row (N,M) are moved right by one key
    compared to the middle home-row keys (H,J,K,L).

    [Q]-[W]-[E]-[R]-[T]__[_______________________]::[Y]-[U]-[I]-[O]-[P]
    [_A_]-[S]-[D]-[F]-[G][_________elecom________][H]-[J]-[K]-[L]-[Del]
    Fn]-[Z]-[X]-[C]-[V]-[GREEN]_____[^]_____[_RED_]-[B]-[N]-[M]-[$]-[Rt
    [_Shift_]-[%]-[___Space___]-[]-[___Space___]-[_]-[_Shift_]

    So keys are not located where expected from standard qwerty keyboards.
    If you use this as your only keyboard all day, maybe you can get used to it.
    But most people also use a standard qwerty layout keyboard,
    so it is necessary keep and switch between two mental maps.
    Because the maps are so similar, it can be difficult to keep them mentally separate, and switch back and forth.

    1.

    One idea is to make the space bars shorter.
    Then the red and green buttons can be vertically oriented.
    That makes space for the ‘B’ key to go in its normal place,
    and the right-hand top and bottom letter rows can be moved left to their normal qwerty position.

    [Q]-[W]-[E]-[R]-[T]__[_______________________]::[Y]-[U]-[I]-[O]-[P]
    [_A_]-[S]-[D]-[F]-[G][_________elecom________][H]-[J]-[K]-[L]-[Del]
    Fn]_[Z]_[X]_[C]_[V]_[B]_[G]_____[^]_____[R]_[$]_[N]-[M]-[,]-[.]-[Rt
    [_Shift_]_[%]_[_Space_]_[R]_[]_[D]_[_Space_]-[_]-[_Shift_]

    But maybe hit GR (green) or RD (red) by accident when typing arrow keys.

    2.

    An alternative idea is to move the left-right arrow keys toward the bottom.
    Then move the red and green buttons toward the up-arrow key.
    Again, that makes space for the ‘B’ key to go in its normal place,
    and the right-hand top and bottom letter rows can be moved left to their normal qwerty position.

    [Q]-[W]-[E]-[R]-[T]__[_______________________]::[Y]-[U]-[I]-[O]-[P]
    [_A_]-[S]-[D]-[F]-[G][_________elecom________][H]-[J]-[K]-[L]-[Del]
    Fn]_[Z]_[X]_[C]_[V]_[B]_[GREEN]_[^]_[_RED_]_[$]-[N]-[M]-[,]-[.]-[Rt
    [_Shift_]_[%]_[___Space___]_[]_[___Space___]-[_]-[_Shift_]

    But again the green and red keys may be too close to the arrow keys.

    3.

    A third idea is to make the glass shorter.  The bottom part only protects the “ELECOM” name,
    and it does not display any dynamic information.  Then the red and green buttons can be moved up
    into this area, with the ELECOM name between them.
    Again, that makes space for the ‘B’ key to go in its normal place,

    and the right-hand top and bottom letter rows can be moved left to their normal qwerty position.

    [Q]-[W]-[E]-[R]-[T]__[_______________________]::[Y]-[U]-[I]-[O]-[P]
    [_A_]-[S]-[D]-[F]-[G][_GRN_][__elecom__][_RED][H]-[J]-[K]-[L]-[DEL]
    Fn]_[Z]_[X]_[C]_[V]_[B]_________[^]_________[$]_[N]-[M]-[,]-[.]-[Rt
    [_Shift_]_[%]_[___Space___]_[]_[___Space___]-[_]-[_Shift_]
