Brother unveils upgraded AirScouter head-mounted display

Brother released back in 2010 its first AirScouter head mounted display glasses that will help anyone wearing them to get visual data always handy or create a unique AR experience.
Today however, Brother announced an upgraded version of these AirScouter glasses with the WD-100G with corrective lenses support and WD-100A without lenses. Announced at 199,800 Yen, these new AirScouter comes with a 800×600 or SVGA resolution which is, according to Brother equivalent to a 16” screen like experience at 1m away from the subject and up to a 156” screen like experience at 10m away from the subject.
In order to work the AirScouter needs to be connected to a PC in order to stream data as well as offering VoIP Support and even Live Camera support.
Available for pre-order these new AirScouter will be ship around this August in Japan and Japan only.
