K-pop agency CEO caught forcing male idols into harassment of female trainees

As reported by JpopAsia, CEO Jang Suk Woo who was arrested on April 10th on charges of sexual harassement turned out more shocking info.

April 15th: Police confimed the rumors that the CEO of OWE (Open World Entertainment) named Jang Suk Woo commanded male idols of his agency into the sexual harassment of 6 of his female trainees. Official stated the following: “Since the end of 2010, Jang Suk Woo harassed 6 Female trainees over 10 times. During the cause of his actions he also commanded his agency’s male members to start harassing them.

Police officials had strong doubts whether the male idols were violently forced into the lewd actions, or rather committed these acts because of his status and power. Mr. Woo is currently under arrest for sexual harassement, sexual assault and rape of 6 females (trainees at his own agency), 2 of these girls were underage. He faces charges of gang rape including minors and scheming persuaded harassement. Officials could not yet give a definitive word on the charges pressed against the male idols of his management.

Open World Ent. is famous for their male  artists/groups Jun Jin, Kim Horam, The BOSS and X-5. OW Ent. is part of the YPA (Young producers Association) who manage artists/groups like JunJin, Gan Miyeon, Tei, K.Will, Brown Eye Girls and After School.

This case is still under investigation.

    Typical for korean entertainment industry.

I agree, but this guy was a VERY big shot in the management of marquee name artists/groups. I’m sure he could get any chick with his name (and bank account), so struck me as odd him not being wiser.

On other notice, I see this post getting a fairly good number of readers, might consider getting back into posting more music related news.

i genuinely have no respect for anyone in the korean entertainment industry, and neither do i for hollywood either… anyone that is sick as this should be shot…. as the saying goes, to see someones true character, give them power… these celebs have power , so with celebrities you can see their true selfs… the sutck up horrible celebs are scum of the earth…. nice celebrities , which are few nowadays unfortunately deserve RESPECT… but unfortunately from the sound of the Korean industry.. the nice celebrities end up taking their own lives. or being bullied. or failing because of these horrible people… the media outlet is korea, is such propergander racist ,, mind controlling bullshit… USA, and many other coutries have this also, but I feel sorry for koreans, because from what i experienced they are nice people, especially the girls. they were very nice to me… but they are brainwashed and forced by so much pressure from the mind numbing media outlet society….

i think Korean people should refuse and demand the entertainment, and media to be changed..
