LG announces the Opitmus VU, a 5”, 8.5mm thin LTE Smartphone

LG announced this morning ahead of the MWG its latest Optimus the Opyimus VU. Featuring a 5” 4:3 1024×768 IPS display the VU is LG’s is now stepping on Samsung’s Note territory and ready to take some share of this rather popular segment. The Vu is also powered by a 1.5GHz dual Core Qualcomm CPU, comes with LTE, a 8Mpix Camera has 32GB of internal memory, runs on Android 2.3 (With a future Android 4 upgrade) and will be available in Korea first around March.
