Domains .tokyo and more to become avaible
The top-level domains ending like .tokyo, .canon and a few more will become available next year.
According to ICANN at least 5 local governments and 2 Japanese companies are going to register their names has top-level domain (the last part of a email or link). As of now, Canon, Hitachi are the 2 companies willing to go forward.
