JNC presents Cesium Removal Technology

JNC presents Cesium Removal Technology

JNC has released today the new technology or shall we say method of cleaning the large amounts of water at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant.

This new method consists in adding a ferrocyanide water-soluble to the already contaminated water, the ferrocyanide will create a bond with the cesium in the water.
Together they form a magnetic substance that is then removed by means of magnetic separation.

This new method presented today, not only works much faster (it takes around 10 minutes from start to finish) than the current one being employed currently at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant, but also reduces waste and largely and also decreases the cost since all of its components are available at low cost. All of this has a 99.5 efficiency rate in removing the Cesium.
