Thanko, unfortunately, nowadays rhyme with crappie made in China Gadgets, and today’s offer is maybe one of the worse, or best example you could think of, behold Thanko’s Pico projector module for iPhone4, the IPMIPR01.
Announced at an atrociously expensive price of 15,800 Yen (Seriously?) the IPMIPR01 feature a weak 320×240 LED projector module alongside a 1W speaker for just 32g.

Sure this may be a handy way for your to share quickly video on the go to everyone, but not only this IPMIPR01 look just ugly, but also comes at a high price for a poor QVGA resolution.

  Clearly a tech writer in Japan knows when a certain device is a total rip-off trying to ride the success of the iphone. Docking gadgets are nice, but some of them are downright atrocious, like maybe THIS ONE. So cut the man some slack, he is really offended by the nerve of the manufacturers of this device.

$99 for AAXA P1 Jr – you get a better pico projector, on board media player, and something that can work independently of an Iphone. It won’t replace your office projector but it also doesn’t look terrible and cost 15,800 yen…

  Thanks for your concern, but it’s OK, really. These things used to bug me a lot, but Steve hooked me up with a 4S when he got here and I find I’m much more chill about all those old rules now. I mean, if he could update this awesome phone every year or so, maybe I can change a few things myself, you know?
