Docomo launches its first pair of LTE Xi ready Tablet in Japan

Behold Docomo’s Tablet GALAXY Tab 10.1 LTE SC-01D, and The Docomo Tablet ARROWS Tab LTE F-01D!
While the first tablet is somehow pretty common and has been introduced by Samsung earlier, the GALAXY Tab 10.1 LTE or SC-01D in Japan will comes by default with Android 3.2 pre-loaded, a 1.5GHz Dual Core CPU, a 7000mAh Battery, a WXGA resolution, Bluetooth 3.0+EDR, HD Video recording, 14Mbps HSDPA, 5.7Mbps HSUPA, LTE for a total weight of 565g and a thickness of 8.6mm.
But the real surprise with without a doubt Fujitsu’s ARROS Tab LTE of F-01D, another Android 3.2 LTE capable tablet that also comes with a WXGA screen but features the company and world first Waterproof body for an LTE tablet! IPX5/7 compatible you will now be able to enjoy watching Hulu (Docomo is now Hulu’s Japan official partner), while having a bath and Fujitsu Hand gesture control that will allow you to control the F-01D 1Seg TV tuner without having to touch the tablet’s screen!
The F-01D also comes with a 5.1Mpix rear facing Camera and a 1.3Mpix front facing one, a 1600hrs continuous stand-by time with a 6560mAh Battery, 7.2Mbps HDPSA and 5.7Mbps HSUPA speed, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 1Seg TV Tuner , HD Recording in just 181x262x11.3mm for 597g.
While during the few minutes I had with this new Fujitsu Tablet I did not have to complain about its speed, its plastic touch and feel was really a deal-barker for me, just squeeze a little the tablet body and you will hear it squeaking like your dog’s toy, really disappointing, well at least on the few devices I had in hands.
