HDC-10, the Onkyo audio PC

Onkyo is a brand of audio products that Japanese people revere. Their products are of excellent quality. I’m always sad to see that this brand is not very popular elsewhere, compared to Bose for example, with their lower sound quality, which manages to be extremely well known. Onkyo is always doing its best to come closer to the computer market by offering PC running Media Center or HD sound cards. And now, Onkyo is striking hard again with the HDC-10 HD audio PC, the APX-1 amplifier, and the D-D1E speakers. The audio PC has a Core 2 Duo T5500, 1GB of RAM, a 120GB hard disk, a DL DVD burner, RCA I/O, S/PDIF I/O and an Onkyo SE-90PCI sound card (they could have used the 200, which by the way, is available on GeekStuff4U.com). Onkyo even offers their own audio software, CarryOn Music 10, which supports almost every existing format. Onkyo worked hard to produce a quiet system that only generates 25dB when on.

    HDC-1.0, not HDC-10…
APX-1 is a bundle package of the HDC-1.0 PC with the A-905HD integrated digital amplifier, not an amp; D-D1E is the active speaker system sold with the HDC-1.0 in the SPX-1 bundle, not passive speakers.
