iVIS HV20, the new Canon HD video camera

The press has been whispering for a few days that Canon would release a new HD video camera. There it is! It’s now official. The new iVIS HV20 is a 60f 1080i mini DV video camera also providing a 24p “cinema” mode. As for the other Canon products, it includes the DIGIC DV II technology for a better video quality, and an optical stabilizer. It measures 88x138x88mm and weights 535g. If the HV10 was too compact for you, the HV20 may well be your future camcorder!
