Panasonic to support Tokai University solar car team

Panasonic Corp has made public today that will sponsor the Tokai University’s solar car team. The Tokai University team is the defending champion for the 2011 World Solar Challenge (WSC).
Under this sponsor program, Panasonic is set to deliver its HIT solar cells system that have the world best energy conversion rate to date and the high-capacity lithium-ion batteries
Due to the 2011 regulation changes, Panasonic batteries have been chosen by 5 other teams to provide their solar cars on the road to victory.
