Sharp introduces ultra slim and Wireless AQUOS F5 Series in Japan!

Good lord! I have to admit that it’s been a while since I’ve been amazed by a TV, and truth to be told I wonder why no one has introduced such a TV before!
Ladies and gentlemen, behold the Sharp AQUOS F5 Series, a new generation of LED backlit TVs that come with a completely redesigned architecture in an ultra-simple package of just five layers, if you include the TV bezel!
Available in four different flavors with sizes ranging from 20-inches, to 60-inchs including a 32-inch and 40-inch model, the F5 Series from AQUOS is not only ultra light with a maximum weight of 21kg for the 60-inch, but is also ultra-slim as the the 60-inch model has a thickness of just 37.2 mm!
Both the 60-inch LC-60F5 and 40-inch LC-40F5 come with a Full-HD resolution as well as a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio (LED backlit), while the 20-inch LC-20F5 and 32-inch LC-32F5 only come with an HD resolution of 1366×768 and a contrast ratio of just 400,000:1 for the 20-inch model with prices ranging from 80,000 to 380,000 Yen.
Being fully wireless, these TVs come with a remote digital TV tuner and are fully compatible with Sharp AQUOS City, Smartphone Support and other Japanese VOD Services.
Sharp expects to releases the new AQUOS F5 Series 32-inch and 40-inch models in early September, and the 20-inch and 60-inch models at the end of October.
