Samsung introduces new GALAXY smartphones
Samsung bring us today more exacting news, it seems that they don’t even stop to breath between new smartphones, tablets or led/lcd screens !
According to them there will be a re-naming of their product line according to the specified audience target that the equipment is supposed to fit, and it will go like this:
“S” (Super Smart)-Will be used in all top of the line models like the famous Galaxy S
“R” (Royal)-For premium models that are for people who want to be recognized by technology they use
“W” (Wonder)-High quality models with strategic importance, on the balance between performance and style
“M” (Magical)- For those seeking performance and economic devices
“Y” (Young)- Will be used in entry-level models or emerging markets for those seeking the best prices
Also, Samsung will be using a few descriptions to better define the phones such as:
“Pro”- For the smartphones that carry a QWERTY keyboard enabling faster emails and text messaging
“Plus”- Will be used on phones that are an upgrade from an existing version
“LTE”- To those who will be on a “Long Term Evolution” connectivity, such as 4G
Not happy with just the name changes, Samsung also gave the heads up on a few smartphones to be released soon by the powerhouse.
Galaxy W- Equipped with 1.4Ghz processor , HSDPA 14.4Mbps and a 3.7” inch touch screen
Galaxy M Pro- With professionals in mind, this one is equipped with a QWERTY keyboard, a optical track pad and a touchscreen for enhanced usability. This will all be packed on a sleek body of only 9.97 mm.
Galaxy Y- With youngsters in mind, this model will be packed with all the normal features, and a 837Mhz processor, along with Samsung Social Hub, enabling them to stay online on the social networks.
Galaxy Y Pro- Same like the regular Y but with the addiction of a QWERTY keyboard as noted above and Thinkfree Mobile office, a touchscreen and also Wi-Fi Direct enabling higher velocities while transferring files.
