Anime update July/August roundup
The anime summer season is already past half of its broadcast time, a small roundup on whats currenty playing on Japanese tv might be appropriate for those of you interested to pick something new up.

Most notable mentions for August is no doubt the Hayata no Gotoku! movie (Hayate the combat butler), the first and second season of this anime were an instant hit in Japan. No doubt the movie will kick off well in the box office once released.
Looking back at June we see the release of the bluray of “Kore wa Zombie desu ka?”, a comedy zombie-focussed series from Studio Deen. An OVA from the ever popular dating anime “Amagami SS” was also well received. Next, the OAD from the sexually obsessed sister duo from “Kiss X Sis” was an instant hit (no surprise here). The first bluray from “Soft Tennis”, a tennis themed comedy was released this June too.
For July one of the top anticipated titles were no doubt the bluray of comedy “Maria Holic” (a nun-focussed series) and Baka to Test Nii (2nd season of the absolutely killer comedy Baka to Test no Shoukanjuu). The release of the Onii-chan no Koto nanka Zenzen Suki Janain Dakara ne!! Bluray is definitely something the fans were eagerly awaiting for, up for sale now!
