Samsung targets gamers with new super powerful Series 7 700G7A

News has just come through that Samsungs new 7 Series might be targeted at gamers according to Engadget.com. A recent leak of information concerning the new powerful 700G7A shows specs unseen in your day to day laptops.
The 700G7A features a 17.3inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution powered by a Radeon HD 6970M GPU with 2GB of VRAM. A 2GHz quad-core i7 CPU and up to 16GB of RAM plus a Blu-ray drive, USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, HDMI jack and Bluetooth 3.0.
As Engadget quite rightly pointed out the most convincing sign that this new beast of a laptop is aimed at gamers is the fact that the backlit keyboard has the letters W, A, S, D highlighted in red. The rest of the keyboard is in blue.
Samsungs Series 7 700G7A will be available from September for around €1,800 though there is no word on where this laptop will be released.
