AkihabaraNews Mobile is BACK!

Dear readers, the arrival of the AkihabaraNews design meant at the time the death of the mobile version (for phones and PDAs). Since then, we’ve received plenty of emails asking us to restart it. We’ve listened to you, and the mobile version is now back online again!
The mobile version is also available in all the languages that are supported by AkihabaraNews, including French, English, Spanish, German, Korean, traditional and simplified Chinese. AkihabaraNews Mobile was designed for Windows Mobile 5 (and previous versions). If your phone or PDA is not compatible with AkihabaraNews Mobile, tell us about it by email!

You don’t have to do anything particular to access AkihabaraNews Mobile: we’re using the same URL as the full version. Enjoy!

Is there any chance of a pda-specific url? (e.g. http://www.akihabaranews.com/pda)
I use Opera on both my PDA and my Nokia E60 and the standard url is rendered as a full Desktop – way too much info for a portable device! Only pocket ie renders as intended – so I guess your site is looking for a Pocket ie identifier in the HTTP request inorder to do the compact render otherwise it defaults to full desktop.
