We were at the Comiket 2006

At the end of every year, the Comiket, which is the largest manga exhibition every organized for the past 30 years (1975), takes place. Danny from DannyChoo.com and Akihabara News were there. This is really an amazing exhibition for manga and Cosplay (Costume Play) fans. But the Comiket is not as fair as you would imagine… It is an event largely oriented toward erotic creations, not so much about Doreamon, Dr. Slump, and the likes… The Comiket is known for its strict selection of the exhibitors. Indeed, if your creations are not erotic enough, you risk not being accepted to promote them. This is quite a restrictive choice (I think) but it seems to be about what our Japanese friends prefer in the end. Even though we’re not at a porn convention, don’t expect to find Candy, Lupin, Lamu, Goku and others, there.

Here are a few photos of the exhibition, and I advice you to go check DannyChoo.com. Danny will talk about the exhibition throughout the week.
