I-O Data introduces its first ever Android Slate with the ALIMO IAT-PSR701

Unfortunately launched running Android Froyo (2.2) the Alimo is I-O Data first ever Android Slate to reach Japanese market. Scheduled however to receive Android 2.3 in the near future, the ALIMO or IAT-PSR701 Slate comes with a 7” 800×480 screen, Bluetooth 2.0 (HSPA/A2DP), Flash Player 10.1, WiFi BGN and a 3.2Mpix Rear camera as well as a 2Mpix front camera.
Designed to offer the basic Android Slate experience, I-O Data however made sure that their slate will also be compatible with their AV and Network AV Product by being capable to access to stored media (Audio, Video, Photo) on any I-O Data’s products (DLNA) as well as being capable to be used as a remote controlled for any Video Recorder and other Media player sold by I-O Data.
The Alimo will be sold in Japan within August at around 34,800 Yen.
