Olympus brings a new Compact tough Camera with the TG-615

Just in time for Obon, Olympus Japan announced this morning their new “Always Ready” like camera with the TG-615. Replacing the TG-610 that was on sale since March 2011, the TG-615 brings some slightly new improved Picture modes like “Miniature” (Tilt-shift effect) as well as a new IS technology coming straight from the PEN E-P3.
Despite this few, yet interesting improvement, the TG-615 keep the same technical specification as the TG-610 with a Dust-proof, Freeze-Proof, Shock-Proof and waterproof body, at 14Mpix Sensor with a 5x optical zoom, SDXC Support and Eye-Fi Support. The TG-615 also comes with 3D Photo and 720p video.
Finally this new camera will be available within the end of July in Japan in Silver, Pink and Green at 28,000 Yen.
