[Robotech 2011] Omron demonstrate a new Indoor Environment Monitor with remote app control
Omron demonstrate at Robotech 2011, a new working concept that will help people to remotely check house environment to prevent heat strokes and other illness due to high temperature.
Thanks to a unique Room Environment Sensor connected to the internet and a set of software, Omron is capable to get in real time the Room Temperature, Relative Humidity, Air Velocity and Human Activity Rate to calculate the Effective room temperature and to alter anyone within this room or medical staff on a remote location of any potential heat disorder risks within the sensor vicinity.
This Indoor Environment Monitor concept is a welcome move from Omron and we hope that they will soon be capable to put this product on the market to better educate elderly living alone about the potential risk of heat disorder but also to help Nurses and other medical professional to check on remote patient well being in summer.
