Sony update its Nexelion Batteries with the new 3.5Ah 18650WH1

Introduced for the first time by Sony in February 2005, the Nexelion Battery where at this time offering an increase of capacity of 30% compare to similar other models. Today, Sony announced that they have successfully updated their Nexelion technology by increasing their capacity from 2.2Ah to 3,5Ah with the brand new 18650WH1.
This new set of Batteries made for notebook PCs comes now in a new size of 18mm of diameter and a length of 65mm for a weight of 53.5g.
Finally Sony expects to ship this new 18650WH1 Nexelion battery in its future PC and other Camcorder by the end of 2011.
