Just in Time for this summer, Sony Europe new HandyCam SX21E and SR21E brings the basic minimum in the most compact package possible. Only shooting video in HD, these two HandyCam comes however with a 57x optical Zoom extendable to an incredible 67x with virtually no visible degradation.
Like any entry level camcorder, these two models comes with a the usual Intelligent AUTO mode capable here to recognizes up to 18 different scene combinations – from portraits and landscapes to night views. Focus, exposure, color and other settings are adjusted automatically for best results, whatever the situation. As well as be fitted with a state of the art IS and a nice 2.7” Clear Photo LCD Monitor and built-in LED video light to illuminate indoor scenes or nighttime shots.
Both compatible Direct Copy, you will be capable to save all your Video directly on an external HDD or DVD Burner without the needs of a PC.
While the SX21E and SR21E are technically identical, the first model only record videos on Memory Stick, while the second model comes with both a Memory Stick slot and 80GB of internal memory offering you up to 61h worth of video.
