Sanwa introduces a new multipurpose Standing Type Scanner, the 400-CMS011

For those looking for an easy and quick way to scan books, magazines and other publications, Standing Type Scanners are the only (easy) way to go. Today Sanwa announced yet a new Standing Type Scanner for the Japanese market with the 400-CMS011.
Fitted with a CMOS Camera (2,048×1,536) with AF on top of a 40cm tall arm, the 400-CMS011 will easily scan any documents up to A4 and save all you them in one of these different formats : BMP/JPG/PNG/TIF/J2K/JP2/JPC/RAS/TGA.
If necessary, the 400-CMS011 is also capable to shoot short 30fps WMA and AVI movies and save them directly to your PC.
Sanwa’s Standing Scanner 400-CMS011 is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and 7 and is sold in Japan at around 20,000 Yen.
