The Buffalo iPod mouse

Some people risk a lawsuit with such a product! Buffalo offers a mouse with a wheel pad that totally looks like an iPod (you know, the player filled with DRM crap from Apple). This optical mouse has an 800dpi resolution, a USB cord, measures 40x94x8mm, weights 30g, and is PC/Mac compatible.

Weird. I never knew that Apple’s iPod was filled with DRM. And here I thought that was something only applicable to the iTunes Store. I guess all those mp3s I ripped off my CDs and put on my iPod are striken with DRM. Silly me.

Seriously, the iPod is not “filled with DRM by Apple,” as you say. If you get something from the iTunes Store, then it has DRM. This is inherent in the system because record labels demand DRM, every major online music store has DRM … but having an iPod does not mean that it automatically has DRM. Mine is DRM-free, filled with regular old mp3 files. Ta-da!

… I kinda wish I could get that Buffalo mouse. I think Apple should’ve explored using the scrool wheel on a mouse.

the iPod is not filled with DRM. only music bought from iTunes has DRM because the record labels demand it. Get your facts right. This post makes your site look completely stupid.
