NEC ShieldPRO, Mr Bond’s TPC!

If you’re like me and cannot live without a Tablet PC, but unlike me you need to use it under temperatures ranging from minus 20 to plus 50, here’s the NEC ShiledPRO, a rugged Tablet PC designed to withstand 90cm drops extreme temperatures, water, sand, dust, even the mayonnaise and crumbs that spilled from your sandwich (took me a week to get to that damned piece of tuna lodged between the D and F keys…). It has a 1.2GHz Core Solo U1400 CPU, 256MB of RAM (such configurations still exist??), a 60GB hard disk, and a 12” display with an XGA resolution. It is available in BTO to accommodate different OSes and hardware configurations.
