Buffalo Introduces the LS-XL Series a new LAN HDD for Smart Homes

Available in 1, 2 or 3TB the LS-XL Series is not what you could cold a NAS but rather a LAN HDD, an Hybrid between your average USB/FireWire external HDD and NAS that will give you instant access to its storage space once connected to a Network as well as been “Visible” to any DLNA capable products you may own.
Equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet these new LS-XL Series LAN HDDs can also be accessible outside your network thanks to its DDNS service support.
Announced for a July launch, the LS-XL Series will be sold at around 17,000 Yen, 22,000 Yen and 28,000 Yen respectively.
